Warranty

ÅSKA Photonics warrants the Products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for TWO (2) year from shipment. Any Products found to be defective must be shipped to ÅSKA Photonics, freight prepaid, or offered to ÅSKA Photonics for inspection and examination. Upon examination, ÅSKA Photonics, at its sole option, will repair or replace at no charge, any Products found to be defective.

If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your ÅSKA Photonics machine, you have FIFTEEN (15) days after delivery to return/exchange the product.

In order to be eligible for return, the returned item(s) must be free of exterior and interior damages (wear and tear) and must be returned in its original packaging with visible and legible serial numbers.

* Returns are subject to 20% restocking fee.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Item
If the items are Dead on Arrival (DOA), please contact our customer support within THREE (3) days after delivery. Please be advised that photo/video copies of the item must be provided for review. In order to be considered for a replacement, the product must be free of outside damages (wear and tear). Additionally, please have the following items prepared:

  1. Original Packaging with visible and legible serial numbers
  2. Photo/Video recording of the malfunction and/or defect of the item

If these requirements are met, ÅSKA Photonics will assume responsibility to cover return shipping costs. Please ensure that the item is placed back in the original packaging without any wear and tear for a functional replacement or item refund.

Item Damaged While in Transit
If you have received an item(s) that had been damaged while in transit, please contact our customer support with photos and video recordings of the damaged areas within THREE (3) days after delivery. In order to be considered for a replacement, the product must be free of man-made damages (wear and tear). Additionally, please have the following items prepared:

  1. Original Packaging with visible and legible serial numbers
  2. Photo/Video recording showing the shipping damages on the item(s).

Please make sure the item(s) do not have any other man-made damage and wear and tear. If the damaged area does not affect the use of the item(s), we will offer compensation --compensation amount varies on a case-by-case basis, evaluated by ÅSKA Photonics. If the damaged area does affect the use of the item(s), please refer to the details on DOA (Dead on Arrival) Item. Shipping fees to ship the returned item(s) will be at the customer’s expense.

Customer Self-Pickup
In the case that a customer opts to pick up the item(s) in person, it is the customer’s sole responsibility to fully inspect the item(s) and to ensure that the package of item(s) is in good condition before collecting the item(s). If the item(s) are defective at the time the customer opens the package, please refer to the “DOA (Dead on Arrival) Item” policy. Shipping fees to ship the returned item(s) will be at the customer’s expense.

Defective Item(s)
if the item(s) turn out to be defective (none man-made damage) within 
THIRTY (30) days after delivery, please contact our customer service with the following:

  1. Photos/Videos of the defect
  2. Description of the defect

Additionally, please have the following items prepared:

  1. Original Packaging with visible and legible serial numbers
  2. Photo/Video recording showing the shipping damages on the item(s).

After the case is confirmed, you can return the item(s) back in the original packaging without any wear and tear for a functional replacement, otherwise we only cover the repair itself.

If the items are defective FIFTEEN (15) days after delivery but still within the 1-year warranty period (none man-made damage), the customer must first send photos, videos, and a description of the defect for ÅSKA Photonics to evaluate the case. After the case is confirmed, the customer must ship the defective item be to ÅSKA Photonics’s factory for repairs. We will ship a new item/part to replace the defective item. For the above-mentioned situations, it is the customer’s responsibility to cover the cost of shipping to return to our facility. ÅSKA Photonics will cover the cost of shipping to send back to the customer upon completion of the repair. If the items are defective after the warranty time, you are responsible for paying all costs incurred. Customers pay the fees that may occur due to customs duties.

Wrong Item Received
If the item(s) you received are completely different from the one you ordered, please contact our customer support with photos or videos of the different item within
 THREE (3) days after delivery. If a return is necessary, please return the item(s) back in the original packaging without any wear and tear. The correct item(s) and the returning shipping cost will be sent to you upon our receipt of the  the returned item(s). The recommended shipping method is registered airmail with tracking number to ensure that the item(s) does not get lost in transit. Or if you could take it, we will offer a special discount for buying it.

Order Cancellation
Orders can be cancelled anytime before they are shipped.

In your account center, if the order payment status says “pending payment” or “pending”, you can just leave it there or contact us to cancel it.

If the order is paid, but the shipment status says “unshipped” then please contact us to cancel the order and get a refund. Once the shipment status says “shipped”, we are unable to cancel the order while you will still be able to send it back within a SEVEN (7) day period for a refund. We charge all the shipping expense of the item(s) during a refund, or if an exchange is requested, you are obligated to pay shipping costs for the return and replacement. The recommended shipping method in a proper way with tracking number to ensure that the item does not get lost in transit. Please note that shipping fee is not refunded.

Refund Policy
The customer is responsible to cover all customs’ duties, tax charges & carrier brokerage fees for the product.

No shipping charges will be refunded, including shipping charges for returning the product.

If the item is refused by the purchaser upon delivery, ÅSKA Photonics will deduct any additional ship-back charges and customs charges from the refund.

After FIFTEEN (15) days since the purchaser received the product(s), the item must be returned and tested by ÅSKA Photonics prior to refund.
